My name is Tanguy, a 33-year-old professional originally from Belgium, now based in White Salmon, Washington. From an early age, snowboarding and skiing have been central to my life, shaping my love for the mountains and the lifestyle they represent. At one point, I had to choose between pursuing snowboarding or kitesurfing as a career, and I chose the path of becoming a professional kitesurfing instructor. While this took me around the world and gave me invaluable teaching, communication, and safety experience, my passion for the mountains never left me. Now, living in the Columbia Gorge, I no longer have to choose—I can dedicate myself to both. My dream is to build a rotation where I work on the mountain during the winter and continue kitesurfing in the summer, fully embracing the outdoor lifestyle I was meant to live. With a strong background in sports instruction, construction, and hospitality, I bring resilience, adaptability, and teamwork to everything I do. My goal is to channel this experience and passion into a long-term career on the mountain, where I can contribute my energy, skills, and dedication to both the work and the community
