• As a Production supervisor my job requires a good working relationship with Union operators. I am required to ensure that all operators have everything they may need to complete their job safely and efficiently. I am in charge of scheduling and staffing overtime for the plant. I am the supervisor over the reactors at the plant. My job requires walking down LOTO for any planned or unplanned maintenance. These lockouts involve hazardous chemicals the plant uses daily. My job also requires me to be on call to assist with any issues that may come up at the plant.

Assisted in overseeing operations as lead supervisor in the plant. Supported root cause analysis (RCA) efforts. Managed the 5S project to foster continuous improvement in the plant. Oversaw confined space entries as the main supervisor for all CSE activities in the plant. Coordinated with maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance and project work across the plant. Collaborated with the sales scheduling team to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders. Contributed to the hiring process by participating in interviews for new hires in the plant. Guided supervisors and union employees in daily operational activities.

• As a filtration operator my job requires me to run the filtration program through the DCS system. I also inventory the product through the SAP program. My other job duties include replacing filtration bags on the FSI, troubleshooting faulted valves, reading piping schematics, treating waste water in the water treatment plant and sampling each product and testing the PH levels. I operate a forklift to load and unload product into loading trucks and work a 12 hour rotating swing shift.

• Worked in numerous plant settings such as Westlake Chemical, Westlake PVC, Wacker, Evonik, Ashland, Alerias, TVA Paradise, GM Plant, Smithland Hydro Dam and Olmsted Lock and Dam. I have experience operating various pieces of equipment in plant environments; such as forklifts, dozers, trackhoes, backhoes, skid steers, front end loader, tractors, small and large hydraulic cranes, overhead cranes, and lattice boom cranes. I have basic welding skills through Local #181. I assisted in plant maintenance, mechanics, and welding.
