My name is Tanner Thomason, I just recently had to end my career due to injury and am already itching to be back on the field in some way. I am 21 years old and I have played since I was 4. I went to millennium high school where I was a starting first baseman and pitcher. I also played club ball with the southwest nationals where I was a closer and dh. I was a power hitter and a finesse pitcher with velocity topping out at 89 my junior year of high school before I got hurt. I went on to receive a scholarship to Benedictine University out here in Mesa, where I spent three years attempting to make a comeback. I have coaching experience with the nationals and with middle school kids as well. I have trained high schoolers and have been a private pitching coach since I was 16. I learned from many high level players including Scott Elbert, Donzell Macdonald, James Macdonald, and many more. Training wise while I was rehabbing I went to Conte sport performance therapy which is run by Nick Conte, he trains many big league athletes including Matt Chapman, Michael Conforto, Bradley Zimmer, etc. Here I learned how to use my small muscles to try and take stress off of my big ones. I am not saying I am an expert in anatomy, I am saying that I have been around doctors and my physical therapists for a long time and I feel I could be make an impact in your program.
