I served as the Erecting lead for a team involved in constructing parking garages. My primary responsibility was to communicate with the crane operator via radio to accurately flag and position precast elements. This required a keen attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure that each piece was placed correctly. In addition to my crane operations duties, I delegated tasks among team members, facilitating a smooth workflow and ensuring that the project was completed efficiently and safely. My leadership helped maintain a collaborative environment, allowing us to meet our deadlines effectively.

In my previous role as a Structual Welder my responsibilities included performing all welding tasks using stick welding (SMAW) techniques, specializing in galvanized and stainless steel. This involved setting up the welding equipment, ensuring proper electrode selection, and executing welds that met industry standards for quality and safety. I also assisted in the erection of precast parking garages and buildings, working collaboratively with the construction team. My role involved helping to position and secure precast elements, ensuring they were aligned correctly and safely installed. This role allowed me to refine my stick welding skills and gain hands-on experience in construction, enhancing my ability to contribute effectively to team projects.
