  • Duties: Recruited as the 1st Forensic Peer Specialist for all UHC. Same duties as when I was employed with Optum the 1st time (2016-2017) and CHI, with an additional focus on providing support for justice-involved individuals. In addition to my Forensic duties, I participate in interviews of potential new UHC employees (peer specialists), audited client records of fellow employees to assure proper protocols are observed. Coordinated new employee onboarding, facilitating systems training, shadowing of calls, and providing technical support. Presently, I am one of two Team Leads assisting our supervisor with mentorship for a group of 16 employees. I assisted the RQIS and trained peer specialists in preparation for state certification. I also facilitate Seeking Safety support groups in the community twice monthly.
