Collect and analyze observational and assessment data to monitor and enhance instructional effectiveness at schools
Plan instructional activities for students, demonstrating knowledge of subject matter and using state Standards of Learning and the curriculum of the district
Establish yearlong literacy plans based on school needs
Select, requisition, and use a variety of instructional materials to stimulate learning and meet the needs of all students
Communicate and coordinate instruction with other staff (Exceptional Ed, gifted, remediation staff, volunteers, etc) relative to student learning
Serve as a liaison between teachers, school-based administration, and Title I
Plan and conduct beginning and end of year meetings with the Title I staff
Train new Title I teachers to how best support instruction in their schools
Meet monthly with the Title I staff at ten elementary schools to discuss needs, professional development, Title I events, and concerns to determine next steps
Review monthly paperwork to ensure the Title IA grant requirements are being fulfilled from Title I teachers as well as ensuring we are audit ready
Review individual schools’ financial paperwork to ensure we are audit ready
Collaborate with Title I teachers in determining purchasing needs for their school
Review FLFE handbook for alignment
Monitor and assist with Title I yearly plans
Conduct instructional observations using the Title I Instructional Assistant Observation/Monitoring Form
Work collaboratively with district coaches to plan and implement district initiatives
