Facade Facial Recognition System

  • As part of my final semester in university, my team and I built a facial recognition system that is meant to be used as a way for recording student lecture attendance. It was based on the FaceNet model, which we used to map different facial expressions and features On windows we used this model together with Buffalo and CUDA for our NVIDIA graphics card processor.

  • Built a website for Geosciencelab Zimbabwe using a Content Management System. I am currently managing and maintaining this website I managed to provide a digital/online presence for this company

This was my first real world try at building a website and publishing it. I voluntarily worked on this as we had learned about web development during the first semester of my first year 

Takaenda Ride Sharing

  • A ride sharing service that we developed to help students book for taxi rides around Mutare. This project was inspired by Uber as we were trying to imitate a customized version of Uber but strictly for Africa University students. The project scored a B grade in the final assessment A copy of this platform is on my GitHub account

Topdevops.tech

  • A portfolio website I worked on with two of my peers. We collaborated development using git. This was an experimental expedition to get knowledge on how hosting works, pushing and pulling through GitHub. We used the Visual Studio code IDE to manipulate a template to our own liking.
