• Yucaipa-Calimesa Educators Association, Negotiation Chair and Negotiation team member, 2008, present, Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the collective bargaining agreement. Communicates with district representatives to reach agreements within the collective bargaining agreement. Communicates with members of the association and provides updates on the status of the negotiation process., Treasurer, 2009, 2011, Responsible for the management and overseeing of the financial affairs of the association. Reconciling bank statement, managing cash flow, making payments for monthly expenses.
• Center for Teacher Induction, Riverside County Office of Education, Mentor Coach, 2015, present, Serve as Mentor Coach who cultivates a supportive, confidential, mentoring relationship based on the needs of the candidate. Meet with candidate weekly to strengthen the candidates' equitable and effective teaching practices and positively influence efficacy and retention in the teaching profession. Attend orientation, trainings, and colloquium to improve coaching and learn about changes to the induction and clear credential process.
• Aspiring Administrator Academy, 11/2019, 03/2020, Presented through the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District. Designed to develop the next generation of educational leadership at the administrative level. Emphasis was placed on the IEP process including accommodations, modifications, supports, and expectations within an IEP meeting. Also emphasized were administrative roles and responsibilities regarding discipline, suspensions, expulsions, education code, school culture, and climate.
