In charge of tuning up the horses, cleaning it up, taking professional pictures, getting a sale video put together, the marketing of several different platforms for the public to see. I answer several other questions a potential buyer might have, schedule viewings for the potential buyer to come look at the horse, try the horse out then depending on potential buyer may have to schedule a pre- purchase exam if they want the vet to take x-rays, get the horse further checked out health wise. Then once all that is taken care of and an agreement is made on price, etc. I draw up a buyers agreement/ sales contract that both parties will fill out!

A Horse Trainer has several responsibilities! You are a trainer, a barn manager, a teacher, a bookkeeper, and in my case a sales representative also. I also take professional pictures, and dabble in videography. You have all the general care for the horse, like feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming, vet appointments, farrier appointments, and then the actual training itself. A lot goes into training horses, specially when training for a certain discipline. My program offers several different disciplines, as I come from a line of horse trainers, me being a third generation horseman on both sides of my family! Aside from training the horse, I also teach the owner how I’ve trained their horse, and I offer lessons to the public for the ones that want to learn to ride. Also I take in consignment horses to offer for sale. Therefore I work on fixing the horse up(brush it up on its training), clean up, I take professional pictures (sale pictures), get a great sale video put together, and then I market the horse for sale to the public on many different platforms.
