As a head chef, I cook from scratch every morning for over seven hundred people. I have several people in the kitchen whom I help and give directions to every day. Organizing and delegating food and the set up is also part of my job, as is inventory and restocking supplies.


I am able to work under great stress and solve problems on the go or ahead of time. I can work in many different environments, including stressful or chaotic situations. Whether working with my fellow chefs or having to work with the school administration and staff, I adapt quickly and efficiently to my circumstances.


Setting up and orchestrating catering events for the school is something I do frequently. Cultivating a positive work culture and mutual respect among the kitchen staff is an environment I value highly, along with open communication within the team.
