To whom it may concern, I wish to be considered for the position Instructional Assistant., I have worked with youth from Preschool age to 12th grade in my various experiences. Most recently, I have worked as Administrative Assistant for a non-profit Alternative MS and HS program. In this position, I worked closely with staff and students not only in our program but also within David Douglas School District. My experience is relevant as described in my resume. I believe that my previous knowledge of school protocol and basic policies make me an excellent candidate for this position. My experience substituting at Prescott Elementary allowed me to connect with elementary level students. I possess a positive, personable and calm attitude along with an understanding of youth needs. I am dedicated to any task that I set out to accomplish. As a professional, I am always looking to increase my skills. I did not complete my studies at CCC, obtaining 41 credits before joining the workforce. I took the Para Pro Praxis test when I worked for Parkrose School District. My passing score was 476 within Oregon Education Standards. I am more than willing to re-take this exam if necessary. I completed a course to be First Aid certified in June., I am motivated, responsible and dedicated. I believe that I radiate the spirit and enthusiasm for View Acres Elementary.
