• Enhanced patient satisfaction by providing truly compassionate and individualized care during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Assisted physicians with cesarean sections, forceps deliveries, and vacuum extractions to ensure safe births for both mother and baby.

• Responsible for assessing patient appropriateness for facility, development of care plans, hiring, training and discipline of staff, scheduling, budgeting, medication reconciliation, responding to all emergencies.

• Responsible for skilled nursing duties including assessments, writing care plans, reviewing physician orders, medication administration and reconciliation, wound care, ostomy care, foley and suprapubic catcher management.

• Assessing patient progress and writing care plans accordingly, training CNA staff, medication reconciliation, Wound Care, Ostomy care and education, Interdisciplinary care coordination.

• Provided support and encouragement for families during labor.
