I am a diligent educator with a strong background in reading intervention. While using Leveled Literacy Intervention, I work hard to implement targeted reading strategies that improve student literacy levels. In the classroom setting, I have an ability to utilize data-driven approaches that foster a supportive learning environment. I am dedicated to building lifelong learning skills in struggling students and have a talent for proactively reaching students where they are to prevent issues related to falling behind. These experiences have prepared me for the challenge to become an early childhood teacher to tailor instruction and promote student engagement while working with students in a variety of subject areas. I'm enthused about the opportunity Carolina CAP has given me to pursue my purpose on becoming a early childhood elementary teacher.
