• Doing market survey to find out trends and latest updates in cabin interiors particularly with immediate competitors
• Prepare case study, bench marking and trade-off for higher management for strategic decision
• Prepare work scope and product specification document (PSD) of BFE/SFE interior products like business and economy seat, lavatories, galleys, branding panel, monuments etc
• Compare various technical proposals and participate in technical and mock up evaluation
• Planning, developing and managing the design aspect and the production of high quality premium product and cabin layout for all different aircraft type in a timely manner
• Use CAD applications to prepare samples design as per instructions and advise from management
• Identification and selection of color, material and finish(CMF), features, equipment or items that may add aesthetic and ergonomic value
• Collaborate with design Farms to acquire information on the brand and corporate identity to translate into cabin interior
• Visit Aircraft manufactures and developers to understand the scope of design for the relevant aircraft, discuss visions and future ideas, suggest ideas and understand feasibility of planed designs
• Participate in Cabin configuration, IFE and connectivity meetings to ensure optimum use of space and brainstorm best possible layouts and refining LOPA after selection
• Work closely through every stage of design process from conceptualization to implementation of the aircraft interior
• Designing and planning as per available data and statistics received such as floor plan, seating arrangement, color combination, space layouts, fit out and placement of graphics as well as digital branding
• Visit OEMs and suppliers to attend various milestones like KOM, ITCM,CDF,PDR, IDR,CDR,FAI, Cabin walk, Dress cover workshop, to check progress of work, provide feedback and ensure on dock date (ODD)
• Prepare detailed schedules for any project that is undertaken by carrying out adequate research; make sure that plans are technically and commercially feasible
• Prepare and support technical project team for technical and comparative evaluation of supplier RFQ/RFP
• Provide engineering support for Cabin and system for linefit and retrofit program
• Liaison with internal external stake holders like standard and procedure, IFE, catering, cabin service and cabin safety, corporate planning, aircraft programs, supplier quality, flight operation etc
• And design agencies on new product development, in service issues and cabin upgrade
• Checking various engineering drawings like envelop, layout, placard and CMF drawings and other relevant documents related to product development
• Evaluate and select MC,SCN,MSCN,CR related to department scope and ensured that it is reflected in relevant documents and highlight all discrepancies’ to internal/external stakeholders for timely correction
• Participate in weekly call, Respond to action items for implementation for timely execution of Entry Into Service (EIS) activities for aircrafts and ODD for BFE parts
• While processing SCSA ensure that exiting fleet configuration and features and maintained and provide all detail to the line manager for further review, processing and approval

• Building necessary infrastructures hardware, software, and skilled resources for successful kicking of projects from off shore
• Communicating and coordinating with the clients, team members and suppliers to understand the project requirement and defining the process
• Standardization of process and documents for minimal error and in time delivery
• Building skilled, efficient and motivated team by giving proper training on tools, working procedure & motivation
• Planning and Monitoring project progress and personnel utilization, taking corrective and preventive measures for proper flow and progress of work
• Winning customer's confidence and creating new business by taking their feedback, building cordial relationship, delivering quality jobs in time
• Day to day trouble shooting, follow up, participating in technical and non-technical discussion with team members and vendors
• Periodic analysis of project and changing the working procedure accordingly
• Creating opportunities for team members to learn new tools and domain to make projects stable, robust, process based &future diversification
• Bring various processes for better quality and high efficiency
• Sharing knowledge, data base on know-how, which will be a reference for all team members for specific project

· Investigation different Head of Versions (HoV) of same Airlines, Feasibility study, give proposals as per Service Bulletin(SB), change in LOPA or Cabin Lining

· Conversion of FC/BC or YC+/YC, Classic to Enhanced Lining, Adapting Cabin Equipment/layout as per new Regulation or AD of FAA/EASA

· Prepare definition drawings showing pre and post situation and Make list of long lead items for the suppliers

· Adaption, Prepare Specifications, Installation drawings & BOM of Floor to Floor(F2F) parts including Over Head bin, Light cover, Ceiling, PSU and Door Frame Linings

· Prepare specification and Installation drawings of various Monuments and seat rail mounted parts like Galleys, Stowage, Lavatory, Partitions, PAX Seat, CAS etc.

· Single part, Specification, Installation and BOM of class divider including Curtain Rail, Curtain, Header Panel, CCRC,FCRC

· Single part, BOM and installation drawings of floor covering parts like Carpet, Raceways, STC, NTF, Joint Strips, EEPMS

· Prepare Installation Drawing of other ancillary parts like Emergency Equipment, Placards, Magazine Rack, Literature pocket, Baby Bassinet, wheel chair etc.

· Prepare Direct view, General Installation, TRS document for certification

· Design, Single Part and Installation (GAD) drawing creation of Galley, lavatories, Stowage, Partitions and Doghouse as per CTS, PTS, SAM and Design Guidelines

· Installation drawing and BOM preparation of PAX Seat, SRC, General Installation, Direct View and Carpet for SA planes

· Installation and Specification preparation of Galley for SA and LR planes

· Design Check and Installation drawing and Specification creation of class divider parts like Curtain, Curtain Rail, Partitions, Cabin crew rest, LIPS and header panel for LR planes

· Installation drawings and BOM of Emergency Equipment for LR planes

· Design, Single Part and Installation (GAD) drawing creation of Galley, lavatories, Stowage, Partitions and Doghouse as per CTS, PTS, SAM and Design Guidelines
