As a Quality Control Coordinator, I played a pivotal role in driving quality standards and innovations within the asphalt industry. I led key projects that advanced the company’s technical capabilities, optimized production processes, and ensured adherence to quality and safety standards. My work included both technical development and team leadership, contributing to improved production efficiency and profitability.

• Industry Representation & Technical Development: Represented the State of West Virginia in Baton Rouge, LA, where I co-developed a publication on Cold Asphalt Paving, contributing to state-level industry knowledge and best practices.
• Innovation in Asphalt Mix Design: Developed the first polymer-modified binder asphalt mix design in WV, which was successfully adopted by a WV-based company, setting a new standard for paving solutions in the region.
• Asphalt Mix Design & Quality Control: Led the asphalt mix design and quality control efforts for the Benedum Airport Runway project, ensuring zero cost reductions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Designed and implemented training programs for lab personnel on proper procedures and techniques for asphalt mix design, improving overall team competency and operational efficiency.
• Statistical Reporting & Quality Improvement: Developed monthly, quarterly, and other statistical reports to track performance, which were used by leadership to guide quality improvement efforts across the company.
