• Serve as Interim Supervisor for Solid Waste Customer Service, supporting daily operations, coordinating workloads and priorities, assisting and mentoring staff, and helping ensure consistent customer service delivery.
• Provide customer service support across Water, Sewer, and Solid Waste, resolving service requests, account concerns, billing questions, and complex customer issues.
• Serve as a liaison between Customer Service and the two contracted residential collection haulers, coordinating service issues, addressing deficiencies and recurring problem areas, and facilitating effective resolutions.
• Assist with contractor performance monitoring and contract compliance, including service-ticket review, documentation, corrective actions, and contractual fines; track, run and report hauler fining to support accountability and enforcement.
• Investigate and resolve escalated resident concerns involving missed collections, damaged carts and recycling bins, yard waste, bulk waste, and service quality, coordinating with residents, haulers, and County staff as needed.
• Utilize STAN, Solid Waste Hauler Service Request & Ticketing System, Hauler Dashboard to research service history, document issues, coordinate contractor notification and follow-up, and track resolutions.
• Monitor and establish Medical Side Door requests and coordinate related service needs with appropriate parties.
• Report Certificates of Occupancy to both contracted residential haulers to support timely initiation and coordination of collection services.
• Serve as a liaison between the County’s MSBU program and both contracted haulers, coordinating information and addressing service-related needs.
• Interpret and apply County policies, procedures, ordinances, and contract requirements, while assisting with staff training, mentoring, process improvements, and recommendations to management.
