Passionate football coach with a proven track record as a head coach, achieving a 17-3 record within the 3 teams I coached simultaneously this year. Renowned for motivational leadership, being personable and strategic game planning. I built and maintained a culture of accountability and excellence in St Johns over the past five years. Mentoring young athletes to balance academics, home life and sports while enhancing their skills through custom coaching and specific performance analysis.
Coached high school football at 5A level, the highest in Utah at the time.
After my wife and I move to St. Johns a little over five years ago, we quickly recognized the need for a youth football program in the community. We saw an opportunity to give local youth a place to build meaningful relationships, create lasting memories, learn important life lessons, and grow into confident young men and women, while also serving as a funnel to the high school football program.
Not on the official coaching staff but instead invited to contribute off-staff by reviewing opponent film at my own initiative, providing insights that informed coaching decisions and team preparation.
•Analyzed opponent film to track tendencies by ‘down and distance’ supporting the team in making informed decisions on game day based on the opponents prior decision making.
•Monitored games from the booth, offering live strategic insights to the coaching staff through a headset and helping implement timely adjustments to gain a competitive advantage.
• Evaluated individuals through game film, relaying constructive criticism to coaches on each players performance and how they can improve.
When I volunteered (receiving no payment) to help coach middle school the program was in bad shape. The 8th graders had not won a game or scored a single touchdown the prior season. A standard was set and the culture quickly shifted. The 1st season ended with a combined record of 7-5 between the 7th and 8th grade teams.
The following year I was made head coach of the middle school program while also being head coach of the 5th and 6th grade little league football team. Between the three teams we achieved a combined record of 17-3.

I thank you for the consideration you’ve given me for the position of St Johns high school head football coach. What I can guarantee if hired is an unwavering commitment not only to the football program but with every program currently apart of St Johns high school. My passion and love has been football since I can remember. Along with a strong passion for coaching since I first started.
My roots are in St. Johns and I am here to stay. I have worked with the youth for five straight years at all different levels and in a multitude of ways, not just sports related. I come from a home and a wife (who is already a huge part of the football booster program and community member) that fully supports me in the decision to put in for this job opportunity.
