I joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2012. Completed Boot camp in 2013, and was assigned MOS field 5800 (Military Police&Corrections). Graduated Naval Corrections Academy in 2013. Was assigned to Camp Pendleton Base Brig. Served as a motivated Corrections Supervisor. Upon being discharged from the military I had been hired by REMCO INC. I was hired as a Service Technician. This title involved Gas, Steam, Electrical, and Refrigeration troubleshooting as well as installation. I aspired to continue my career in HVAC. I found a great opportunity in residential HVAC. I then created my role as an HVAC department manger. I created the roles and responsibilities list for this position as the company had grown. With this role I looked at conversion rates into sales, developed a follow up procedure, monitored the dispatch, kept technicians accountable, trained technicians, and built a team. While I strived for more, I had expanded my career into sales as well. Currently, I have sold over one million dollars in equipment sales.
As a service technician, I was responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing equipment. I generated leads for sales conversions totaling over 2 million dollars. I studied a process to generate leads from a technician with expensive repairs, to convert them into installs. Developing customer service skills was crucial to this role. I became comfortable with my newfound skill while taking on the responsibility as a technician.
