San Francisco Conservation Corps (SFCC) provides professional job‐training and educational development opportunities for individuals 18‐26 years of age through a variety of environmentally focused, community service‐based programs.
Duties included development & training for at risk youth based in the Bay View Hunters Point district of San Francisco where we prepared them for job training and working in a professional setting
Maintained accurate records of employee participation in training events, tracking progress towards learning objectives & curriculum
Collaborated with department managers to design customized training plans aligned with SFCC core values and our mission statement
Provided ongoing coaching and mentoring support for employees seeking professional growth and development, even after completion of program.
Our partners include San Francisco Department of Public Works, San Francisco Parks and Recreation, Greenstreet corp, and other various entities throughout the Bay Area

SFCC focuses on two job‐training pathways: natural resources management and recycling.
Natural resources management projects include habitat restoration, fire fuel reduction, plant care and farming, landscaping maintenance, and trail building. Recycling projects include the collection of and education around recycling beverage containers, e‐waste, waste tires, and used oil.
In coordination with job‐training and educational attainment, aimed at reducing social and financial barriers, and uplifting low‐income and disadvantaged communities in San Francisco.
Supervisors also act as an positive role models, making significant contributions to providing a positive work environment that values diversity and fosters a commitment to teamwork and learning
As supervisor I was expected to perform day‐to‐day administrative tasks associated with Corpsmember reporting, project data tracking, and disciplinary reporting and enforcement.
