At Pontotoc County Central Dispatch in Ada, I also handled emergency and non-emergency calls for law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies. I maintain radio communication with first responders, track their movements, and ensure accurate, real-time updates throughout each call.
This role demands quick thinking, multitasking, and calm, clear communication to help protect lives and support public safety across the county. This job for me was to get my foot in the door working with LEOs and getting experience in the career field on both sides of the radio.
