I always trust the blood lines.
it's not because I know how to speak korean but it is because my blood lines comes from Korea.
seeing kids speaking english with their parents and the lack of knowledge about korean culture was, to be honest sad.
So I decided to give them some knowledge about the Korean culture and let them know that we came from Korea and their blood line is Korean.
For the non-Korean, I was just fascinated with their passion. wanting to learn whole different thing, sometimes could be a real challenge but they really poured their heart in.
if I can help those people. one way would be assisting them with my Korean knowledge.
I was a volunteer teaching assistant at a Korean school (they teach Korean to non-Korean speakers). required speaking Korean but my job most of the time was just to speak Korean, clean up after, and teach kids some simple Korean.
