I log on to DSS to research material to check if failed or passed on their discrepancies. Check different locations within the warehouse to identify and inspect material for random samples to reach the quota for the month. When SDR Clerk has time off, I fill in and process the type 7, R, N SDR’s for local, Navy and regular shipments. I make sure each one has the right disposition, cause, and accountability codes before closing out the SDR.

  • Every day I would gather the documents from bldgs. 849 upper and lower, 850 and 845. Each morning once collected the documents on the daily route for said buildings above; I would go through each of documents I’ve collected from each place and complete the tasks by the end of the day. Documents such as: commercial bill of landings, government bill of landing, transshipments, FMS, DD1384’s, DSS coversheets with corresponding 1348/receipts, IAV’s, ISDR’s, and local delivery manifest. Once I was finished going through each of the documents, I would bundle them up with a rubber band into batches of 250. After filling a certain number of bins, I would send them down to get scanned into the system. Every week I would go out to the satellite buildings to collect those documents as well. Trained the new hire to fulfill the position.
