Nursing Externship May 2023-August 2023

Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV

· Completed a 3,600-hour precept at Hampshire memorial Hospital.

· Alternated between the Medical Surgical unit and the Emergency Department, with most of my time being spent on the Medical Surgical Unit.

· Became very familiar with Valley Health’s EPIC database and Pyxis system.

Clinical Experience with Potomac State College of West Virginia University

· Other Clinical experience has been gained with over 200 hours of medical surgical clinical care and 67.5 hours of specialty clinical time including women and newborn, pediatric, behavioral health, and critical care.

· I completed 175 hours at Miller Family Healthcare with Stephanie Miller, NP.

· 225 hours were completed at Winchester Medical Center in the Neuro/ Trauma ICU with Kaitlyn Crowley, BSN, RN.
