I am a dedicated and ambitious journalist with a passion for storytelling, delivering accurate news, and being a part of the community.

I have been nominated for an Emmy, an AP Award and am a TAB Award finalist.

In 2023, I was awarded the FOIA Award by the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas for my investigative series into the large number of case dismissals at the Nueces County DA's office. This was during my eight months serving as the interim investigative reporter while also solo anchoring a brand new 4 p.m. show.

In 2023, I was honored by the League of United Latin American Citizens Council #1 as an outstanding community leader and am on the executive board of directors for the YMCA of the Coastal Bend.

  • Co-anchor the hour long 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. newscast and solo anchor the noon.
  • I conduct live interviews both in studio and in the field. I report breaking news, investigative pieces, follow-ups, and features.
  • I write, shoot and edit compelling news packages for broadcast and our digital platforms.
  • I collaborate with producers and reporters to develop story ideas and pitch unique angles.
  • I use our social media platforms to engage with our audience and promote my station’s brand, increasing online viewership and engagement. I have organically grown my professional Facebook page to nearly 10,000 followers.
