
Working at the WMC for three years has shaped me into a professional communicator, whether that means writing, visually or orally. I am able to connect with people extremely easily, and this makes me stand out as I form human connections with others and operate on empathy and compassion. I'm eager to apply the skills I have learned in a creative and strategic role.
-Trained to be familiarized and comfortable with all citation styles
-Trained to be personable and helpful with the writing concerns and give adequate feedback on written papers, essays, and creative writing projects
-Trained to be competent and efficient with public speaking and oral communication

-Learned how to professionally communicate with students and professors
-Worked with professors individually as an Embedded Peer Mentor to help integrate students into Channel Islands and introduce them to the Writing & Multiliteracy Center
