  • My current duties at Winn Dixie include that I am to work with our inventory from doing weekly low inventory walks to maintaining the amount of backstock that we have in our stockroom. I have also worked as a cashier and I know how to run our bakery department. I also have helped stock crew with making sure the store is stocked, worked with our pricing specialist with hanging up tags, and before I became inventory specialist I was the GM stocker as well as a cashier. At one point I had to work as cashier, stock crew member, bakery associate, and inventory specialist. While working as inventory specialist I have gotten to working with our scan guns to help me with my duties and I have been able to effectively understand how to make price tags, adjust and fix inventory, fix the backstock amount, check the order history for different items, perform date checks , perform markdowns, perform discards. Briefly while I opened and closed the bakery I was able to read and understand the production sheet as well as cook what we needed for the day, manage other bakery associates, decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, print and label everything correctly and set things out in an organized manner. At the end of the day in the bakery I am able to clean, scrub the floors, wash, rinse, and sanitize the dishes and close up for the night. I am able to train and manage the stock crew when our Merch manager is not there, I work closely with both the Merch Manager and stock crew so communication with both parties is a high priority for me and I have also trained stock crew to value communication as well.
