Work History

Electrician Lead Hand

Cooper Heating & Cooling
06.2019 - Current

Cooper Heating and Cooling is a 35M /yr company and provided me a great amount of strengths, aswell as allowed me to recognize my weaknesses in the electrical industry. As a residential electrician for 7 years, I have become proficient in the trade by gaining skills beyond the labor itself, including:

  • Customer service, project management, material orders / accounting, management, and more.
  • Boosted project quality control with accurate interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Ensured proper equipment functionality through regular preventive maintenance checks and services for clients'' facilities.
  • Managed inventory effectively to guarantee availability of necessary parts while also reducing waste generated from excess materials.
  • Improved overall safety by conducting thorough electrical inspections and identifying potential hazards.
  • Minimized downtime for clients by responding swiftly to emergency service calls for repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Strengthened team collaboration by sharing knowledge on new technologies, tools, materials, and techniques within the electrical field.
  • Contributed to the successful completion of large-scale projects by coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople.
  • Maintained a high standard of workmanship through adherence to industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Increased productivity with proficient installation of wiring systems for lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Troubleshot and repaired malfunctioning systems and components.

Automotive Technician

485 Designs
09.2023 - 02.2025

485 Designs is in a niche industry of automotive and motorcycle fabrication and customization. Here I solidified work ethics and strengths such as :

  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Passionate about learning and committed to continual improvement.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.

Automotive Technician

Doug Hub Motorsports
11.2022 - 08.2023

At The Hub I expanded my work ethic and built myself further within the hours I was given free from Cooper. Here I was able to solidify self drive and confirm my limits in a 24hr day. The job itself adhered to my hobbies which allowed me to grow from a M-F 7-3pm work day, into a M-Sat 7-12am work day. I am proud that I performed at this level the entire duration of my employment here. Aside from that trials run i did gain alot of additional skills there including;

  • Maintained a clean and organized work environment, demonstrating pride in personal workspace while contributing to overall shop cleanliness.
  • Performed diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures to find and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
  • Increased workshop efficiency by effectively organizing tools, equipment, and workspace for easy access during repairs.
  • Delivered superior results under tight deadlines, managing multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality or attention to detail.
  • Tested newly installed equipment to determine proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Contributed to business growth through exceptional customer service, leading to increased repeat clientele and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Elevated shop reputation with outstanding troubleshooting abilities that led to quick identification of complex issues not easily diagnosed by others.

Apprentice Electrician

Here's Howe
03.2018 - 06.2019

My intensive start into a long lasting career in the electrical industry began by building custom homes in boulder county. These were not spec homes by any means. Most of these properties were more than 6000sq.ft. We would finish rough-ins within 2-3 weeks, and trim-outs in 1 week. I helped build 25+ homes in my 16 month employment at Here's Howe. My basic skills earned here include:

  • Connected wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components to create working electrical systems.
  • Helped complete system installations, digging trenches, and breaking up concrete.
  • Learned and followed latest electrical codes and regulations to deliver compliant electrical systems.
  • Installed conduit systems effectively for better wire protection, contributing to overall system longevity and reliability.
  • Tested continuity of circuits using test equipment to verify compatibility and safety of systems following installation, replacement, or repair.
  • Read and interpreted blueprints and electrical schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
  • Implemented proper grounding techniques during installations, reducing potential risks associated with power surges or faults in the system.
  • Collaborated closely with other trades on construction sites, fostering a positive working environment for efficient project completion.
  • Identified and studied electrical problems to determine correct solutions.
  • Worked under supervision of journeyman electrician to learn trade and develop electrical knowledge.
