• During my time at this school district I focused on working with special education students of many severities and age groups. I modified lessons and curriculum to accommodate diverse learners by using strategies such as communication core boards and AAC devices

• At this hospital, I would teach life skills and provided one-on-one support for students with learning disabilities, enabling them to excel in their coursework.

• Collaborated with other Washoe County School Sites to ensure students with special needs were being taken care of appropriately.

• Worked as a supervisor of the after school care program; Teamup
• Had around 60 students and three staff
• I was in charge of the staff and helping the Teamup coordinator reach the goals of math, STEM, social emotional skills, and fun Friday for the kids each week.

• Followed lesson plans designed by absent teachers.
• Provided support to special education students in inclusive classrooms, developing accommodations and modifications to meet their unique needs.

• Planned weekly activities schedule for students grades Kinder-5th Grade and facilitated smooth games and activities
