As I finish my sophomore year at Clovis North High school, I hold a cumulative GPA of 3.8. I challenge myself by including AP courses in my schedule, and I have plans to attend a good college to obtain a business degree. I also participate in school and club volleyball, which I enjoy and appreciate the core values this team sport has brought me. In my free time, I like to read, play volleyball, hangout with friends, or go on hikes with my family.
The child i babysat for has learning disabilities and is fifteen years old. I am only sixteen, but the mother of the child trusted me, and knew I was capable of accompanying her son. I made him food, Helped him with the television, and played games with him. I helped him get to bed as well.
With the Clovis North Key club, I drew signs for elderly people and went and gave them to the elderly homes. The signs were to make their home look more festive, since it was almost Halloween.
While my family friends were away on vacation, I watched their two cats and one dog. I went in their house for about two and a half to three hours a day for about 3 weeks. I fed, cleaned, played, and walked the animals each time as well.
I have been playing volleyball for about five years now, and I have progressed a lot. I started in fifth grade, at Copper Hills Elementary school. Ever since, I have enjoyed playing the sport and I hope to continue playing in college.
