I perform daily maintenance tasks and rounds, PM's and greasings. I weld, repair and rebuild a variety of equipment including fans, valves, ovens and furnaces, environmental abatement equipment, boilers and more while adhering to lockout/tagout procedures. I work with a team of other mechanics to quickly and efficiently repair and rebuild equipment, both on the run and during shutdowns. I maintain and log tasks and time in SAP, as well as submitting work notifications.

I inspected, maintained, repaired and rebuilt food production machinery including conveyors, elevators, steam peelers, cutting and sorting equipment, dryers, fryers and pumps while performing lockout/tagout procedures. I routinely replaced belts, bearings and sprockets. I welded and repaired frames, safety guards, chutes and non-pressurized tanks. I performed daily maintenance check lists and logs to identify and prioritize needed repairs.

I repair/overhaul, weld and inspect aviation mechanical and hydraulic components. I test components, disassemble and identify defective parts, and repair to like new condition. My responsibilities also include operating and maintaining a hydraulic bench, fabricating and modifying specialty tooling, and keeping accurate paperwork.
