  • As a PCC my main responsibilities included the verification of medical insurance benefits via either phone or internet then transferring the pertinent information onto the patient’s billing face sheet.

  • As a CCC I greeted patients as they arrived, checked them in, and collected their copays and balances.
  • I would then put the patients in an exam room and take their vital signs before reporting to the doctor.
