Summary

Compassionate and experienced nurse with over 2 years of bedside nursing experience and 6 years of direct patient care contributing to enhanced clinical judgment with a desire to promote patient centered care and positive health outcomes. A personal history of a battle with Acute myeloid leukemia in 2018 led to my career in the nursing field once entering remission after a bone marrow transplant. Since 2019 promoting compassionate care to those in need has been a fulfilling calling and I desire to continue to be a difference in patients’ lives as I once experienced through nurses caring for me. Through my experience I have gained clinical judgement and skill such as iv insertion and drug administration, phlebotomy and advanced cardiac monitoring and patient assessment. Above all I have learned how to meet patients where they are often in their darkest of days and help to acknowledge and empathize with their concerns and seek to deliver patient centered care and promote positive outcome.
