• My third clinical rotation was at ORMC on a progressive care unit. I assisted RNs in medication administration, vital sign monitoring, hygiene care, and patient documentation. I also participated in pre- and post-shift conferences with nursing leaders.

In May of 2024, I had my second clinical rotation in a PCU/ICU at Advent Health Winter Garden.

• Assisted in medication administration, obtaining vital signs, post-operative mobility, and hygiene care
• Gained experience in intensive care unit protocols and patient monitoring

• In January of 2024, I had my first clinical rotation on a Med-Surge floor assisting with the needs of many patients
• I helped my nurse with patient needs and wants such as vital signs, ambulation, and helping the patient feel as comfortable as possible while they were there by promoting a therapeutic environment

• Assisted nurses with daily patient care for women admitted for childbirth
• Performed tasks such as vital sign monitoring, patient comfort measures, restocking supplies, and aiding in ambulation to promote deliveries
