· Completing bio-psychosocial assessments and preparing a comprehensive treatment plan for each client

· Provides basic case management services and documents treatment provided

· Assesses client for an Initial Treatment Plan and appropriately re-assesses the client’s needs throughout treatment

· Completes Master Treatment Plans that are behaviorally specific and with goals and objectives that are related to client problem areas. All Master Treatment Plans indicate level of client/family involvement.

· Provides competent individual, family, couples, group psychotherapy and substance abuse therapy.

· Provides other therapeutic services, within scope of demonstrated competence, as required.

· Provides competent crisis intervention.

· Assists with case management and interagency coordination of services for clients. Makes appropriate referrals.

· Provides clinical guidance and appropriate interaction with external providers.

· Documents all client interactions, including all sessions with clients, families, significant others, etc. within established time frames.

· Completes Progress Notes accurately, addressing treatment goals, major clinical issues and changes in mental health status.

· Writes in a professional and competent manner.

· Documentation must be completed within one (1) calendar day of service delivery

• Perform all counseling/mental health requirements in accordance with the state laws, licensing boards, and professional ethical guidelines
• Maintain a full patient caseload
• Diagnose substance use disorder and/or other co-occurring psychiatric disorders collaboratively with the medical/psychiatric departments within scope of practice
• Provide intervention, assessments, treatment planning, and individual/group counseling
• Initiate and provide family counseling services
• Facilitate therapeutic groups as assigned
• Provide clinical services to outpatient and inpatient adult population on caseload and assist when needed with other patients as assigned by clinical management

• Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure the best care for patient
• Demonstrate knowledge and abide by State Department standards, facility accreditation, AAC's policy and procedures
• Identify, evaluate, and address situations which may be potentially harmful to patients and report any patient or safety concerns to clinical management and/or CEO
• Adhere to company code of ethics and maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times
• Respectful of patient rights as well as understanding of patients unique recovery needs
• Communicate with all staff, patients, and families using excellent professional written and verbal skills
• Participate in required clinical supervision, training, and staff meetings
• Work as a larger interdisciplinary team along with other departments to ensure quality of care

• Hired upon completion of internship and graduation with master's to cover a maternity leave position for five months
• I maintain a caseload of thirteen clients, in which I see in the community at their residences

• I held an internship with Wellspan Philhaven's Behavioral After School Program during the last semester of my Undergraduate education
