I am currently a senior in High School at RTR High School in Tyler, MN. In the spring, I anticipate to be named valedictorian of my class. With my academic merit and achievement, I plan to continue my studies at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. I plan to major in Agricultural Business and minor in Animal Science. I am a member of National Honor Society and FFA. In my leisure time in the summer, I am an assistant coach on our county's livestock judging team. Doing so helps me gain skills such as active listening, intuition, constructive feedback, and guidance. Aside from this, I am also a highly motivated individual in regards to the livestock industry. I currently own 10 purebred Hereford cows, and 14 recipient cows. In the summer, I can't find myself very far from my barn. I have been lucky to have been accomplished throughout the last 10 years of my 4-H career inside the show ring.
I engaged in several work-based learning tasks with a colleague/peer. We executed the same regime of tasks everyday. Some of these include: washing show heifers and sale calves, cleaning cooler pens, and working showmanship on specific sale calves.
