As a Background Check Specialist I would verify current and past employment/education histories for candidates. I would also run criminal checks through online databases. These processes would lead me to communicating with employers, schools and county record clerks. Discrepancies with candidates information gave me great experience with conflict management. Ensuring accuracy of information and security of information was critical as I would deal with a persons identity information. Working on the phone and through several different computer systems I am efficient with technology.
