Beginning my time at Visionworks, I started off Pretesting patients, doing intake questions, loading and prepping the rooms for the doctors. I then found myself in a lead reception role after about a year of employment. My job task at that time was checking in patients answering phone calls, verifying insurance, and greeting patients and customers in a friendly manner. I then took a position on the sales floor. Discussing with patients about lens materials, coatings, and pricing through their insurance to find the best lenses for their needs. Shortly after I got promoted to a Third Key position which includes troubleshooting glasses, reading prescriptions and measurements due to issues, refunds and remakes.
