  • Conduct intensive field surveys with ORSANCO and the US EPA National Rivers and Streams Assessment (NRSA).
  • Assist electrofishing surveys using EF boats and backpacks for NRSA and safe consumption reports.
  • Midwest freshwater fish identification and preservation.
  • Collect benthic macroinvertebrates, periphyton, and water chemistry samples from streams and rivers.
  • Assess biotic and abiotic components of terrestrial and aquatic riparian habitat.
  • Routine maintenance and operation of trucks, boats, and equipment trailers.
  • Participation in community outreach events to promote watershed education.
  • Monitored the health of fish populations by assessing water quality parameters such as temperature, oxygen levels, pH levels, and nutrient concentrations.

  • Member of the Advocacy Corps Young Adult program with FCNL during the 21-22-year cohort, primarily focused on the (H.R. 2021) Environmental Justice for All Act.
  • Successfully organized and group-led 8+ lobby visits with Senate and House offices, with constituents present, to lobby on the (H.R.2021) Environmental Justice for All Act.
  • Orchestrated a large-scale Earth Day event in 2022 in downtown Wilmington, in partnership with multiple small businesses and donors - with over 400 attendees present.
  • Served as a panelist for the 2022 Propel Conference held at Columbus State, by Senator Sherrod Brown, to speak on student leadership and young adult advocacy.
  • Participated in Spring Lobby Weekend for 3 years, both in person in Washington, D.C. And remotely, lobbying Ohio senate and congressional offices.
  • Led and trained the Wilmington College Cohort in both 2023 and 2024 for the annual Spring Lobby Weekend event.
