I served as a Platoon Sergeant for a Mounted Reconnaissance Platoon in a company that was geographically dispersed from the direct reporting battalion. We were responsible for planning and conducting CBRN reconnaissance and surveillance for an assigned area of operations during ground large scale combat operations. We had 32 pieces of detection equipment that valued over 35 million dollars. I also was the supervisor for 18 Soldiers.
