Extra Man Position is required to know and be able to run every position in the mill. Jobs in the mill are receiving, conveyor, utility, stock prep, wet end, dry end, winder, scales, boiler effluent, and shipping. When the position is not being ran by the everyday operator the Extra Man is responsible for filling the position. Each job has its own skills and requirements and they differed from job to job. Some skills and requirements are heavy equipment operation, time management, problem solving, maintenance, environmental testing, customer service, quality control, all while operating safely within OSHA requirements.

Responsible for completing instalation of blinds and shades, window tint, decals, and security film in residential and commercial settings. Some job responsibilities were inventory management, time management, project management, customer relations, employee management, and travel planning.

Haul and dock semi trailers with spot truck while logging the locations trailers were docked and stagged. Responsible for assigning trailers to stores and routes to the right size requirements for the route and load.
