With a proven track record at the St Louis Cardinals, I've honed my expertise in field maintenance and team leadership. Known for my hard work and fast learning, I've elevated field standards through meticulous care and innovative solutions. My blend of technical skills and ability to inspire teams sets me apart in professional groundskeeping while still at a young age.
This is where a lot of things that I had learned in the past were not only built soon but also vastly improved. A lot more responsibilities and jobs started along with this job. Some of the same along the lines of mowing, painting, and other general field work. Along with that came a lot of sod work, laid an entire field at one point, a lot of fertilizing, aerating, and other more meticulous things that’s are able to be done at the higher professional level.
One of a very small crew that managed and maintained a sports complex of 12 baseball fields and 1 soccer field. (Brighton Municipal Athletic Complex)
Along with the entirety of the complex its self, due to the fact that it was a city job, there was a lot of odds and ends jobs that were available as well. One ton truck driving and operating, delivering white rock, use of a buffalo blower around the city itself, snow removal, more in-depth irrigation repair, and much more.
Complete field maintenance. This is where I learned a lot of the ins and outs of groundskeeping at a semi professional level. Not the biggest of budget when it comes to upkeep in general but was still able to do a lot such as mowing, painting, irrigation work, dirt work around the baseball field. Was also put into a leadership role very early so I was able to figure things out that come along with those responsibilities, management, employee allocation, and just general navigation of a young adult in a leadership role.
