- Assessed, triaged and worked with patients of all ages and development stages

- Inserted IVs/IV therapy, provided pain management, medicine administration 

-Aided patients with kidney & liver failure including alcohol & substance abuse withdrawal, educated on diet/lifestyle modification

-Gave assistance with rehabilitation facility placement, Inserted Orogastric tube and Foley catheters

-Acquired urine, sputum, and blood samples and performed swabs

-Positioned and assisted with expired patient for family viewing

-Comforted and prevented trauma with intubated patient who became stimulated

• Med/Surg Semester 3, Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center Hospital, Summer 2022,

-Performed head-to-toe assessments and focused assessments, 

-Assisted in bathing, turning and changing patients' linens, 

-Assisted with patient transport, patient mobility, care and discharge planning, 

-Medication administration (PO, IVP, SQ, IVPB), 

-Performed complex dressing changes and sterile wound care, Obtained VS and documented them in the patient's chart

-Therapeutically communicated and comforted patients while coping with illness
