Summary

As a host I learned how to talk to people in a more professional manner while still being friendly and welcoming, often times I would have to help the servers when the restaurant was busy. Due to this I was able to improve my ability to work under pressure and stay calm in hectic situations. Being a host requires you to think about which server can handle large parties and where would be the best place to put people to keep everyone happy.

I play soccer for Danville High School.

I have played soccer since I was three years old, however I have had multiple injuries to put me out for seasons at a time. I tore my ACL in 8th grade playing for the JV team at Lincoln County. I completed my recovery and returned to play for two seasons, but I tore my ACL again in the same knee my sophomore year at Danville. This recovery took longer since it was the second time and I was unable to play my junior year, but I will be returning to play for senior season this year! It has taken a lot of hard work to get my knee to my new normal, but it is much stronger now.
