Summary

Hi, my name is TE LUEN CHANG, everyone call me "Dylan". Born in 06/03/1992. I'm from Tainan City, Taiwan.

I'm a new Certified Flight Instructor of Wayman Aviation Academy just start at 3/25/2024.


I hold the FAA CPL ASEL and AMEL with Instrument. And I hold the CFI and CFII as well. After I finished my MEI training in the recently future, my skill can help the school or corporate to train the pilot to fly the single and multi engine airplane.


I have different types of the airplanes experience like Cessna 172 P/R/S, Piper Warrior, Piper Arrow, Piper Seminole, Extra 300L. It's a benefit for me to familiar different types of airplanes easier.


My integral formation has allowed me to develop aptitudes to perform in the aviation, with discipline, responsibility, commitment and efficacy.


My vocation inspires me and I aspire to achieve new skills to develop and contribute the activity.


It's my pleasure to join the member of a good group, and I will be glad to do my best in the career, thank you.

I got officially hired by Wayman since I passed the Standardization and check out for the new hired instructor.


It's my first official job in U.S and my new life journey as well. I just start this job second week with my four students to work out together to help them reach the goal and help myself as well. Trying my best to help them to get the PPL is my mission and I doing best.

  • I met a professor when I was in college. Her major was Russian language and Russian culture. After I took her course, I found it very interesting. So I asked her to become her assistant, helping to correct students' homework and coordinate her meeting times, and preparation of her teaching materials.

  • Due to Taiwan's conscription system, I served as a gunner in the Army's artillery unit for a year.
  • Artillery is a large team, so what I learned most during my service was the experience of teamwork. It takes at least 7 people to operate a self-propelled gun.
  • From loading the shells and propellant, calculating the target orientation and distance, firing and driving the self-propelled gun, it all requires close teamwork.
  • This is a special and valuable experience for me. And I believe this is also a moral development for pilots.
