  • Primary responsibilities within the ISD Policy and Program Work Development Bureau include routing and tracking all projects staff may be working on for CASH and SNAP initiatives through the Blue Folder Process. Ensure all Staff Managers, Deputy Bureau Chiefs, Bureau Chiefs, Deputy Directors and Directors review and approve each project. Responsible for tracking any edits and revisions reviewers may have and will work directly with the Office of the Secretary and the Governor's Office upon request,
  • Responsible for updating all spreadsheets and word documents for the Blue Folder Process. Assists the team with Fair Hearing tracking and Readability and Translation services.
  • Responsibilities also include attending meetings to note take for staff in ISD that may be out of office or are holding the meeting. All notes are primarily tracked by date and time in the One Note App, notes reflect open discussion topics and action items the bureau is to take back and complete.
  • Responsible for working with staff on travel reimbursements - following all proper DFA regulations and guidelines to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. Attending DFA trainings yearly to note any updates and changes from pervious years.
  • Assists the team in IPRA and Record requests given from the Office of General Council within HSD, utilizing our ASPEN system to search individuals and pull any and all records the individual may have or had with HSD.
  • Responsible for working with the Department of Health to verify listed clients who are approved in our system receiving benefits with HSD.
  • During a Legislative Session responsibilities include working with the Office of the Secretary and all of ISD to route and track incoming bills. Utilizing SharePoint to track the bills, set up meetings with ISD directors to discuss bills ISD has received and to route to the correct bureau for a bill analysis. Responsible for ensuring all bills are routed and completed in a timely manner and returned to OOS within the given timeframe. Will work after hours and on weekends during a 30/60 day session.

  • Served as the Financial Aid Division Records and Archives Liaison, responsibilities included logging closed participant files that have met retention, as well as completing the Requests for Destruction documents that must be approved through New Mexico State Records and Archives office prior to destruction.
  • Assists with all committee meeting planning and calendar invites as well as note taking during all committee meetings.
  • Assisted with Purchase Order processing through SHARE Financials upon request and assisted the agency with the yearly audit and pulling of files.
  • Experienced working in the Executive Office at NMHED, serving as the temporary Administrative Assistant. In that time, was responsible for answering the main phone line for NMHED, responsible for answering all emails on behalf of the Cabinet Secretary, set up calendar invites for meetings and ensured all invites for the Cabinet Secretary were in place.

  • Provided quality customer service to every applicant regarding their application for professional licensure through the State of New Mexico as well as being responsible for overseeing applicant files for more then one professional board at a time.   • Assisted in the divisions call center each week and dealt with a high volume of calls and constituent complaints.
