I started special inspection with CEL through the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee in 2021 after completing a carpenter apprenticeship, and getting vested, as a concrete formwork carpenter for 5 years. I’m Always keeping my eyes open to new opportunities and chances to expand my knowledge and career in the construction industry.

I have been doing a lot of Firestop insp. this past year as well as the usual rebar sign offs, concrete placement/sampling, anchor installation/torque testing, spray applied fireproofing, and a little bit of welding and shear wall nailing insp.

I’m open to being on daily dispatch as I’m constantly seeing new construction techniques and meeting new people. I can also appreciate the steadiness and that grounding feeling of having a regular worksite / second home to go to everyday and build relationships.

I currently live in the east bay CA, but would love to eventually be able to move back to, and have reliable hours, in Sonoma County where I grew up.

If I thought I had a sure chance of employment, I would move up to the Portland/Vancouver area in a heartbeat!
