Teddy Fortuin

Proactive and driven, I excelled at Newton Chinese Language School, where I spearheaded events like bake sales to support impoverished families, showcasing my organizational skills and teamwork. My work ethic is reflected in excellent grades in school and commitment to extracurriculars. My ability to communicate effectively and maintain operational excellence highlights my commitment to results, blending hard and soft skills to achieve impactful outcomes.

-Mandarin: I have been studying Mandarin Chinese my whole life and have achieved fluency. I regularly speak chinese with my mom to practice.

-Tennis: I have been playing tennis for 4 years and I am a member of the Roxbury Latin JV tennis team.

-Wrestling: It is my first year wrestling and I won the JV New England Championships.

-Soccer: I have been playing soccer for 2 years and play at RL.

-Violin: Violin is my main hobby and I have been playing since I was 3. I take lessons weekly, am a finalist in the New England Conservatory Prep Concerto Competition, and play in the Youth Symphony at NEC Prep. I practice around 2 hours daily.

-Piano: I've been playing piano for 3 years, practicing around 20 minutes a day.
