Hello, my name is Teddy Roman. I am 21 years old, and I have been working in HVAC since my junior year of high school. I recently relocated to Florida to be with my girlfriend, who has just started college here, and I am seeking a long-term opportunity in the HVAC field.
For the past two years, I was employed at ENCON Heating and Cooling in Stratford, Connecticut, where I worked as an apprentice primarily focused on commercial service. Prior to that, I worked for B&D Corp in New Milford, Connecticut, my hometown, for two years, gaining hands-on experience strictly in commercial HVAC. My responsibilities included preventative maintenance, new installations, replacements of older units, and the installation of commercial ductwork.
Through my experience, I have learned that my strongest skill set is on the installation side of HVAC. While I am capable of troubleshooting and repair work, installation is where I perform best and add the most value. I am a reliable and independent worker who takes pride in completing jobs efficiently and correctly. I also work well in team environments, respect job-site hierarchy, and understand the importance of following the direction of senior technicians.
I am motivated, dependable, and eager to continue growing my skills in Florida’s HVAC industry, particularly in commercial installation and large-scale systems.
I have my OSHA 10 training certification and my universal EPA certification.
