• Responsible for the care of 1-2 critically ill patients on a 20 bed ICU Unit. Diagnosis included, but not limited to: trauma, septic shock, respiratory failure, hemorrhagic and/or occlusive strokes, ETOH withdrawal, Opioid overdose, Renal Failure, GI bleeds, and Hypertensive emergency.
• Titration of critical IV drips such as Vasopressors, Sedatives, antihypertensive agents, Heparin, anti-arrhythmics, and insulin drips.

• Provided continuous care to actively dying patients. Assessed for changes in patients and monitored clinical progression towards death.
• Assessed patients, implemented interventions, and administered medications for pain and end of life symptom management.
• Management of respiratory/trach care, PEG tubes, and subdural analgesic pumps.
• Educated patients and families on medication side effects and signs and symptoms of end of life.
