  • Security Set Up & Amendment: We set up various securities as per instructions external client Aviva, Artemis & JPMAM as well as internal teams like COACS (Corporate Actions), Trades & Pricing as per vendor sources (Bloomberg and Interactive Data – FTS)
  • Attend Queries: Attend queries raised by Aviva, JPMAM and Artemis
  • Since we are a client facing team and our setups/ amendments done in system (Hi-Portfolio) are directly visible to them, we ensured that all queries are timely/ accurately actioned
  • Supervising: Performed Quality Check (verification) of the tasks actioned by my team and ensured that all deliverables/ signoffs are met in timely manner

Business Data Management – Mar'15 to Jun'17

  • Instrument Setup: Setup instruments like Indices and Credit Default Swaps on company's internal application which are further used by middle and front office for trading purposes
  • Index Rollout: Setup new series of Indices traded by clients during March and September Index Rollout
  • During rollout all the Indices & their components are maintained and any addition or deletions to these are replicated in our system
  • Credit Event: Our team was responsible to track credit events happening in market and accordingly update our system
  • These events include Merger, Name Change, Dissolution, etc
  • Constant interaction and co-ordination with front office (traders) and middle office (operations) is required to ensure successful completion of the event
  • TOMS: As a Bloomberg Admin for JP Morgan, I provided access to Traders and Salespersons for carrying out day to day client's trading
  • The effort in performing this activity is very minimal but the criticality level is very high
  • One had to be very sure that correct access is being granted to the correct employee
