• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Reference Data pertaining to Instrument Reference Data and implement direction over how particular query or market events should be treated if anomalies are observed through system processes
• Serving as a subject matter expert in ISG Product Data Setup, Maintenance and Project Management
• Acting as a point of escalation for issues raised by Vendor teams
• Manage a team responsible for performing critical functions of creating and validating securities, performing mandatory data changes, new product & exchange launches, vendor management and incident/escalation management
• Managing real time data quality issues, which can impact risk valuation or trading opportunities across the globe
• Completing root-cause analysis of data quality exceptions to determine trends in the data, identify inaccuracies in external data providers' feeds and recommend opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity
• Engaging with stakeholders across multiple business units (incl. Trading desks, risk, production management, business analyst and IT development) and approved data vendors to capture requirements and communicate progress on all Mandatory Data Changes and New Product/ Exchange On-boarding's
• Acting as project manager, work closely with BU, own the change coordination until resolution, identify and mitigate risk of data changes and new products/ exchanges
• Creating project plan, establish project governance and structure for larger scale change initiatives
• Owning and participating in change prioritization forums, represent business, Data Operations' priorities among various change initiatives
• Point person for automation initiatives, brainstorming feasible solutions and representing my team in various decision-making forums

Client Securities Configuration – Aug'16 to Jun'17

• Security Set Up & Amendment: We set up various securities as per instructions external client Aviva, Artemis & JPMAM as well as internal teams like COACS (Corporate Actions), Trades & Pricing as per vendor sources (Bloomberg and Interactive Data – FTS)
• Attend Queries: Attend queries raised by Aviva, JPMAM and Artemis
• Since we are a client facing team and our setups/ amendments done in system (Hi-Portfolio) are directly visible to them, we ensured that all queries are timely/ accurately actioned
• Supervising: Performed Quality Check (verification) of the tasks actioned by my team and ensured that all deliverables/ signoffs are met in timely manner
• Preparing & Analyzing Metrics: Prepared metrics and published it to senior management/ OSD (Operations Service Delivery)

Business Data Management – Mar'15 to Jun'17

• Instrument Setup: Setup instruments like Indices and Credit Default Swaps on company's internal application which are further used by middle and front office for trading purposes
• Index Rollout: Setup new series of Indices traded by clients during March and September Index Rollout
• During rollout all the Indices & their components are maintained and any addition or deletions to these are replicated in our system
• Credit Event: Our team was responsible to track credit events happening in market and accordingly update our system
• These events include Merger, Name Change, Dissolution, etc
• Constant interaction and co-ordination with front office (traders) and middle office (operations) is required to ensure successful completion of the event
• TOMS: As a Bloomberg Admin for JP Morgan, I provided access to Traders and Salespersons for carrying out day to day client's trading
• The effort in performing this activity is very minimal but the criticality level is very high
• One had to be very sure that correct access is being granted to the correct employee

Static Data – Nov'10 to Mar'15

• Security Set Up & Amendment: Setup various Securities as per instructions from COACS Team (Corporate Actions team), Trades, Pricing, etc
• And update assets as per request on mailbox after adherence to procedure and as per Vendor Sources
• Security Validation/Verification: Validated securities against data vendors such as Bloomberg, FTS, etc to ensure correct Pricing and NAV are used before they get traded in the market
• Attend Queries: Attend various queries on mailbox.
